Insert and configure parameter groups
Pre-defined modules for parameter groups are available for selection in the HW catalog. The
modules differ in the data length, the transmission direction and the type of data exchange
via PROFINET.
●
Cyclic data exchange:
PGN modules with specified data lengths from 8 bytes to 512 bytes
●
Acyclic data exchange:
PGN proxy modules with a configurable data length of 8 bytes to 1785 bytes
Insert parameter group
Follow these steps:
1.
Double-click on the desired parameter group

in the HW catalog.
The selected parameter group is automatically placed as a module in
the next free slot

2.
Edit the name of the parameter group if needed.
