4.2 Connecting the HMI device

MP 377 15" Touch daylight readable (WinCC flexible)

Note
Applies to non-isolated plant configurations:
Connect the "GND" terminal of the 24 VDC power supply to the equipotential bonding. You

should always select a central point of termination.

Requirement

These are the requirements:
●

The HMI device is assembled.

●

2 connection terminals
The connection terminals are included in the accessory kit and are designed for cables

with a cross-section of ≤ 1.5 mm

Procedure

Proceed as follows:

NOTICE

Damage possible
If the mains terminal is plugged into the HMI device and the cable is connected, then

pressure on the screwdriver can damage the HMI device socket.
Connect the cable only to the mains terminal that is currently not plugged in.
