The diagram below presents the components which render a 3VA UL molded case circuit
breaker capable of communication.

The central components of communication-capable 3VA UL molded case circuit breakers
are the ETUs 5-series and 8-series.
You can find additional information in the 3VA Communication System Manual (Page 11).
There the components are regarded only as suppliers of information or receivers of
commands.
