Deactivating door padlocking

Door padlocking can also be permanently deactivated.
To deactivate door padlocking, the lever on the rear of the front cover of the 8UD1 must be

turned to the vertical position using a (2.5 mm) slotted screwdriver.

Note
The lever for deactivating door padlocking can only be accessed when the handle has not

yet been mounted on the cabinet door. If you want to deactivate door padlocking, ensure that

the lever is in the correct position before you fit the handle.
