Callback, Automatic
The internal party you are trying to reach is
busy or is not answering. The message “Call-
back?” is shown on the display.
The system or the other party will call you
back automatically as soon as the other party
becomes free or uses the telephone again.
Answering the callback call
Your telephone rings. Watch the display for in-
formation.
Canceling callback
Confirm the message and end the call.
Lift the handset.
A call is placed to the party you want to reach.
Callback calls are repeated until a con-
nection is made or the callback call is
canceled. A telephone can initiate a
total of two callback calls (five in Re-
lease 2.2 and later) and can be the
destination of a total of two callback
requests (five in Release 2.2 and lat-
er) . Once these limits have been
reached, additional callback calls will
be rejected.
Scroll to “View callbacks?” and confirm your
selection.
