Operating the oven gas burner

If you wish to heat your oven in the conventional way,
use the oven gas burner.

Switching on the oven gas
burner

Open the appliance door.

Press the control knob for the oven, turn it anti-

clockwise to position 250 °C and hold the control
knob pressed for a few seconds until the flame has
stabilised. Then carefully close the appliance
door.

Set the required temperature using the control

knob. Do not turn the knob beyond 140.

Switching off the oven gas
burner

When the dish is ready, slightly depress the control
knob and turn it clockwise to position 0 .

If the flame goes out

Switch off the control knob. Wait one minute and
switch the burner on again.

If the flame goes out, gas will escape. Never leave
the gas burner unattended during operation. Ensure
that there are no draughts.
