Parameter sets
The detection behavior of the point detectors is influenced by the parameter sets
so that it can be specifically adjusted to the fire phenomena and environmental
conditions to be expected in the environment to be monitored.
All parameter sets are programmed in the point detectors. During commissioning,
the optimum parameter set must be selected for the conditions at the place of
installation.
The parameter set is selected on the control panel on interactive and FDnet
detector lines.
On an AnalogPLUS detector line, the 'Universal Fast' parameter set can be
selected as an alternative to the default parameter set when replacing smoke
detectors with the detector exchanger and tester.
On a collective or MS8 detector line, the parameter set is selected with the detector
exchanger and tester.
If fire detector FDOOT241-A4 is operated on a SIGMALOOP detector line, the
detector transmits the sensor values to the control panel and the parameter sets on
the detector are not active. The detection behavior is configured on the SIGMASYS
control panel.
If a parameter set is not selected in collective, MS8 or AnalogPLUS operation, the
detector operates with the relevant default parameter set.
Information about the default parameter set can be found in the 'Parameter sets:
' chapter.
The number of the selected parameter set can be read out and checked using the
detector exchanger and tester.
You can select and set the parameter sets as follows:
●
Using the 'SintesoWorks' software
●
Directly on your fire detection system
●
With the detector exchanger and tester FDUD292
The exact procedure for selecting and setting the parameters is described in the
relevant documentation.
Observe the 'Applicable documents' section in the 'About this document' chapter.
