Mounting variants
To install a point detector, a detector base is always required. After installing the
detector base, the point detector is simply screwed into the base by hand with the
detector exchanger or with the detector exchanger and tester.
Alternatively, the point detector can also be installed on a sounder base or an
interbase.
CAUTION
Possible sharp edges at the point detector
Risk of cutting injuries at fingers and hands
●
Avoid holding the point detector at the edges of the smoke inlet opening.
●
Only touch the point detector at the smooth surfaces of the housing as shown
in the graphic below.
Properties
●
Quick installation and reliable contact due to screwless terminals
●
Insertion of the insulated wires without any tools
●
The centered alarm indicator makes an alignment of the detector base
superfluous
●
Space for up to 6 auxiliary terminals for detector heating units etc.
Accessories are available for a variety of different applications and can be
combined to suit the particular application in question.
