Commissioning
Commissioning FDnet, AnalogPLUS, interactive, and SIGMALOOP
The control panel is used to commission the detectors. The exact procedure is
described in the control panel documentation.
Migrating existing detectors
You will find further information about migration and modernization in document
A6V10323158.
Commissioning a collective or MS8 detector line
The commissioning of the collective detector line is performed on the control panel.
The exact procedure is described in the control panel documentation.
After commissioning the detector line, the parameter sets can be set with the
detector exchanger and tester FDUD292.
Changing over from a collective to an FDnet detector line
When changing from a collective detector line with FD20 detectors to an FDnet
detector line, the following must be taken into account:
●
There is no need to replace the detector base FDB201 with a detector base
FDB221.
●
It is not necessary to replace the sounder base FDSB292, either. On an FDnet
detector line the sounder base FDSB292 behaves in the same way as the
sounder base FDSB291 with product version ES
≥30.
●
When a detector is removed from an FDnet detector line and that detector is
located on a collective detector base (FDB201 or FDSB292), the
communication between the control panel and the next detector is interrupted.
In this case, alarming by the subsequent detectors is no longer possible. A fault
is indicated on the control panel.
●
The changeover takes place by reading in the FDnet detector line several
times. Wait 30 s before reading in the FDnet detector line again. Repeat the
reading-in process for the FDnet detector line until the correct number of
installed detectors per FDnet detector line is read in.
Recommendation: Use the line tester FDUL221 for the changeover.
