CAUTIONS

• Carefully handle the scanning optics unit, using care not to shock it.
• Never put your finger into the emission port located in the bottom of the scanning optics unit.
• When servicing a PC board, be sure to wear a wristband to ground your body. If you do not

ground your body, the buildup of static electricity on your body may damage electronic
components on the PC board.
