For 7XV5662-0AD00, use lines with twisted double cores and additional shield for the
connection between the network termination and the CC-2M. The impedance must be 120
Ω
in the E1 mode and 100
Ω
in the T1 mode. Connect the shield on both sides. The data cable
must be at least a cable of the type S/UTP (Screen Unshielded Twisted Pair). An S/UTP
cable consists of a plastic cable sheath and an overall shielding around the twisted double
core pairs. The shielding may consist of copper braiding, of aluminum foil, or of both. You
can also use cables of the type S/FTP (Screen Foil Twisted Pair) where the twisted double
core pairs are additionally shielded with metallic foils.
For the 7XV5662_0AD01, you must use coaxial cables with a characteristic impedance of
75
Ω
. Preferably use preconfigured cables for G.703 E1 connections.
The arrangement of the connection at the screw-type terminals of the CC-2M is shown in the
following table.

Use a solid, low-impedance and low-inductance business earthing and put these together with
