Setting Other Manufacturer Controls
Use the Other Manufacturer screen to enable the use of other manufacturers’
control materials.
1. At the System Settings menu, select
Additional Settings
.
The Additional Settings menu displays.
2. Select
Control Tests
.
The Control Tests screen displays.
3. Select
Other Manufacturer
.
The Other Manufacturer Control screen displays.
4. To allow the use of other manufacturers’ controls, select the check box.
5. To save the setting, select
Save
.
System Tests
You or your technical support provider can use the System Test menu screen
to perform tests on the DCA Vantage system. The System Test menu screen
includes the following 3 types of System Tests:
•
User System Tests
• Service System Tests
NOTE:
Service System Tests are performed by your technical support
provider.
• Optical Tests
NOTE:
If the system is set to restricted, to access System Tests you must enter
a valid Supervisor ID, refer to Supervisor ID ‚ page 55.
Performing User System Tests
The User System Tests screen allows you to test different parts of the system.
1. At the System Menu screen, select
System Tests
.
The System Tests screen displays.
2. From the System Test menu, select
User System Tests
.
3. Select the check box of the test you want to perform.
4. To initiate the test, select
Start
.
The tests that require no additional action automatically run.
NOTE:
The tests that require additional action run first.
