Configuring the C1 muting release
Overview
The C1 muting release function is configured automatically.
After being switched on, the system checks for approx. 30 s whether a HIGH (24 V)
input voltage is present on In4 on the system connection. If an input voltage of 24 V is
detected, the C1 muting release function is activated.
Prerequisites
•
The C1 muting release can only be configured if the system was wired correctly.
Configuring the C1 muting release
NOTE
Skip the first and second steps if the device is already in configuration mode.
1.
Disconnect the device from the voltage supply.
2.
Switch on the voltage supply, then continue with the next step within 30 s. If more
than 30 s elapses, restart from step 1.
3.
Ensure that a HIGH (24 V) input voltage is present on the C1 muting release signal
input.
4.
The C1 muting release is configured automatically during the first 30 s.

Diagnostic LED 7 flashes white and signals that the C1 muting release has been
configured.
✓
After configuration is complete, the diagnostic LED lights up white continuously.
Complementary information
To change the C1 muting release configuration, the device must be reset to factory set‐
tings.
