Muting and beam coding are only applied in the system configuration if the device
contains a factory-set standard configuration (after delivery or after resetting the
configuration) and at least one muting arm is connected to the active unit.

If the device contains a factory-set standard configuration (after delivery or after
resetting the configuration) and no muting arm is detected when it is switched on,
the device indicates a configuration error.

If, after being switched on, the muting and beam coding configuration is different
from the system configuration, a configuration error is reported.

The device must be reset to the factory settings to change the muting or the beam
coding configuration.

Then ensure the correct functioning of the device.

Set to factory settings
Overview
To reset the functions to the factory settings, disconnect the muting arms from the
active unit.
