The following applies for entry/exit monitoring:
•
Override is active. The number of override statuses is limited to 5.
•
Concurrence monitoring is configured
•
A total muting time is active
•
The detection of the muting direction and the sequence monitoring is deactivated
•
If a muting sensor is clear, sensor gap monitoring will expire, meaning that a mut‐
ing sensor may not be clear longer than 0.5 s

C1 muting release
Overview
The protective device has an internal muting release. The C1 muting release function
can be configured during commissioning and is located at In4 of the system connec‐
tion.
The C1 muting release function is a supplementary signal from an external source that
is only used for muting release and is required for every muting cycle.
The C1 muting release supplementary signal can be a control signal from a PLC or
another sensor, but not a static signal.
Functionality
At each muting cycle, the system checks whether a signal change from LOW to HIGH
occurs at the In4 input of the C1 supplementary signal before both muting sensors of
the first muting sensor pair (e.g., A1 and A2) are activated. As soon as an object is
detected by the muting sensors of the first muting sensor pair without a valid signal
change having previously occurred at the In4 input, muting is not triggered.
The signal sequence must occur for each muting cycle and is independent of the direc‐
tion of the conveyor belt.
