8. SHORT BATTERY LIFE

First of all, explain that the battery life varies depending on the use envi-

ronment and the operating conditions.

1) According to “BATTERY VOLTAGE ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE”

on the Service Manual, check the set values. (If necessary, make

setting again.

2) Execute “CURRENT COMSUMPTION CHECK” on the Service

Manual to check the current value.

3) Replace the battery pack.

9. THE CF CARD (SD CARD) IS NOT

RECOGNIZED. / WHEN THE CF CARD IS
INSERTED, NO OPERATION IS
PERFORMED

First of all, check for deformation of the connector terminal of each
card.

1) Check CF CD and SD CD on the

right lower side of the diag menu.

2) Insert the CF card and the SD

card, and check again.

3) When the CF

card is inserted,
no operation is
performed.

All should be "H."

All should be "L."

NG(Remains at "H")

The card is not recognized.

: Check "CD" pin of the connector and

check CCD

of BR403 and IC401.

: Check soldering of the terminals outside
