Prepare data in the built-in memory of the machine.
MP3 music data will be OK.

Insert an SD card.
Check that the SD card icon is indicated on the task bar.
If the SD card icon is not indicated on the task bar, remove the SD
card and insert it again and check the icon.

Copy the data in the machine to the SD card.

If copying is performed normally, it is OK.
For operating procedures, refer to the Operation Manual.

Docking Station
Personal computer with USB support (Win98 or later)
(The USB driver and necessary application must have been
installed to the computer from the CD-ROM packed together with
the machine.)

If synchronization and data transmission are performed normally, it
is OK.
For operating procedures, refer to the Operation Manual.
SL5500: Use Docking Station (CE-ST7).
SL5000: Use Docking Station (CE-ST6).

Open "DIAG MENU (1/3)".

Connect a stereo headphone or a speaker with amplifier to the stereo headphone jack.
(Do not put the stereo headphone in the ears because it produces too big sounds.)

Tap "No.9 Earphone."
