SPINACH GRATIN

shallow oval ovenproof dish

Ingredients
2 tbsp butter or margarine (20 g)
1

onion (50 g), finely chopped

600 g leaf spinach, frozen

salt, pepper
nutmeg
garlic powder

1 TL

butter or margarine to grease the dish

500 g boiled potatoes, sliced
200 g cooked ham, diced
4

eggs

125 ml cream (Crème fraîche)
100 g grated cheese (e.g. Gouda)

paprika

1.  Divide the butter on the bottom of the bowl, add

the chopped onion, cover and lightly cook. 

2-3 Min.

2.  Add the spinach, cover the bowl and microwave.

Stir once or twice during cooking.

12-14 Min.

Pour off the liquid and season the spinach.

3.  Grease the oven-proof dish. Place the slices of

potato, the diced ham and the spinach alternately
in the dish in layers, finishing with potatoes.

4.  Blend the eggs with the cream, season and pour

over the vegetables. Sprinkle grated cheese over
the dish and top with a sprinkling of paprika. 
After cooking leave the gratin to stand for approx.
10 minutes.

1. Dry off the peach halves.
2. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Then trickle in a little

sugar (35 g).

3. Mix together the almonds, the remaining sugar

(35 g), the egg yolks and the cognac.

4. Fill each peach half with the mixture. Pipe the

beaten egg whites over the filling.

5. Grease the dish. Place the peaches in the glass

dish and grill on the low rack.
