The MFP may intermittently hang (stops
printing) with Rendering displayed
within the job status, only when
printing from a Windows environment.
There is a Microsoft Hotfix available that may address this
issue:-

In addition, disabling mDNS within Network Settings-
Services menu and WSD under Network Settings-Print
Port Settings has also resolved this issue in some cases.
After upgrading from Windows 8 to 8.1
or 2012 to 2012R2, “Features”
information on the printer properties is
not displayed.
This is caused by the OS upgrade.
If you change the Printer Name or change/reset the Port
properties of the queue, the Features information will
return.
When using PC-Fax Preview function on
Windows 8.1 or 2012R2, the preview
image and sending result is incorrect
When using PC-Fax driver on Windows 8.1 or 2012R2, set
the FAX resolution setting to 200x200dpi, 400x400dpi or
600x600dpi.

Unable to set A4/Letter Auto Change
Function
Upgrade the MFP firmware version to 02.05.E1.00 (or
higher). Then via the webpage, go to Device Setup –
Administrator Settings and enable A4/Letter Auto Change.

Unable to install OSX10.8 Drivers -
Cannot be opened because it was not
downloaded from the Mac APP Store
error message
For additional security, OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion
implemented “Gatekeeper”, which can be set to restrict
the installation of applications/drivers from a specific
source (eg Mac App Store).
From the Security & Privacy menu (System Preferences),
change the "Allow Applications Downloaded From"
setting to Mac App Store and identified developers or
Anywhere.

Is it possible to change the duplex
binding default?
Upgrade the MFP firmware to 01.10.E1.00 (or higher) and
change the following SSW control:-
SIM55-3, SSW9-6
0:Binding
OFF (Default)
1:Binding
ON
IMAGE SEND MODE

CE-02 trouble, only when scanning to a
shared folder located on a Domain
Controller (eg. Server 2012).
In order for MXC250F/300W to support SMB Digital
Signature when scanning to a network folder on Server
2012(R2), upgrade the MFP firmware to 02.03.E1.b0
(or higher).
As earlier firmware versions did not support SMB Digital
Signature on the SMBC Library of MXC250F/300W series,
the only workaround was by changing two configuration
settings within the Domain Controller Group Policy
therefore, after upgrading the MFP firmware to the above
version, the following configuration settings can be
enabled (if required):-
Under Local Security Policies – Security Settings – Local
Policies – Security Options:-
Domain Member: Digitally encrypt or sign secure channel
data (always) – Enable this policy.
Microsoft Network Server: Digitally sign communication
(Always) – Enable this policy.
