Power Management
You can set the TV to automatically power off when no
image is displayed on PC.

NOTE
• After setting the Energy Save mode to “On”, if no signal is
input for about 8 minutes, the power will be turned off.
• Even if you start using the PC and the signal inputs again,
the TV stays off.
• The TV turns on again by pressing
POWER
. (See page 13.)
• 5 minutes before the power turns off, the remaining time is
displayed at one-minute intervals.

(WSS) picture size automatically
WSS allows a television to switch automatically among
the different screen formats.

NOTE
• Try to set WIDE mode if an image does not switch to the
correct screen format. When the broadcast signal contains
no WSS information, the function will not work even if
enabled.
• When receiving weak or unstable signals and for avoiding
wrong estimation of the signals, it is recommended to set
WSS to “Off”.

to select between Panorama and Normal.

Ecology
When set to “Yes”, the TV activates the following
power saving mode.
• “Standby Mode” set to “Mode 2” (Page 24)
• “No Signal Off” set to “Enable” (Page 26)
• “No Operation Off” set to “3 hr.” (Page 26)
• “Power Management” set to “On” (Page 27)
NOTE
• Ecology mode cannot be deactivated by selecting “No”.
Each setting must be changed individually to deactivate
Ecology mode.
