TV Menu Operation
SETTINGS - CHANNEL MENU
Auto Tuning –
When Auto Tuning is selected from the Satellite
Menu, the menu to the right will appear. Set the options as
required and then enter the Auto Tuning mode to start tuning
into satellite channels. Note that if individual satellites have been
chosen in the Satellite Setup option in the Satellite Menu, the set
will only tune to these.
While in the Satellite Television mode:
Channel Type
- Choose from the following options:
Free
Tunes into all free to air channels.
Scrambled
Tunes into scrambled channels.
Free + Scrambled
Tunes into all types of channels.
Service Type
- Choose from the following options:
All
Tunes into all types of channels.
Radio
Only tunes into radio channels.
Digital TV
Only tunes into Digital TV channels.
Scan Mode
- Choose from the following options:
Default
Tunes into all selected satellites using only the transponder
frequencies shown in the Satellite option table.
Network
As Default, but will use the Network Identifi cation Table for
each satellite if available.
BLIND
Tunes into all selected satellites across the entire transponder
band.
To enter the satellite tuning mode, ensure that you are switched to
the satellite source, then press [MENU] on the remote control and
select Settings > Channel from the menu options. The menu to the
left will appear. To enable satellite channels to the receiver, you
need to connect a satellite antenna (LNB and dish) to the satellite
input on the set (round with a screw thread).
