With this feature, you can display the remaining amount of tape on
the TV screen, during Recording or Playback a tape.

Insert a cassette.

until the tape is running. The tape remaining
counter will display on the TV screen after few seconds as
shown on right.
The tape remaining computation will not be performed, if no tape
is inserted to the Unit.

If a cassette with erasure protection tab removed is inserted, the tape
remaining will display automatically after few seconds.

During computation,

During recording, if only 5 minutes of tape remain, Tape Remaining will
flash.

cassettes are used with a cassette
adapter, the indication may not be correct.

This function may not work properly for video cassettes other than
T-30, T-60, T-90 and T-120 or video cassettes other than standard
cassettes.

The tape remaining does not operate when
EJECT
is pressed.

During Fast Forward (FF) or Rewind (REW), the tape remaining
calculation display may be different.
•
The indicated length of tape remaining is only an approximate guide.
