5. Routine maintenance
Caution:

Before starting routine maintenance for the printer, make sure the power is turned off.
z
Do not touch the surface of print head with hands or metal. Do not use forceps so as to prevent print
head, platen roller and sensors being scratched.
z
Do not use organic solvents like gasoline, acetone and etc.
z
When cleaning print head or sensors, please wait for pure alcohol to evaporate totally before starting
printing.
z
It is recommended to do routine maintenance per month.
5.1 Cleaning mark sensor
When the following case occurs, the mark sensor should be cleaned:

Cannot identify marks effectively.

Cleaning steps for mark sensor are as follows:
1) Unscrew the two M3-5 screws shown in Figure 5.1-1 with a cross screw driver and disassemble
the cable cover plate shown in Figure 5.1-1;

2) Unscrew the M3-5 screw shown in Figure 5.1-2 with a cross screw driver, and disassemble the
cover plate of print motor shown in Figure 5.1-2;
