In the project example, the following devices are EtherCAT

The MOVI-C

CONTROLLER serves as EtherCAT

master.

The application inverters serve as EtherCAT

slaves.
The configuration of the devices is performed in the MOVISUITE
®
engineering soft-
ware.

Establishing a connection between engineering PC and MOVI-C
®
CONTROLLER
To ensure that the engineering PC can communicate via the engineering interface
X80 with the MOVI‑C
®
CONTROLLER via Ethernet, both the devices must be connec-
ted in the same local network. For this purpose, the IP address parameters of the en-
gineering PC must be set to the local network.
INFORMATION
In delivery state, the engineering interface X80 of the MOVI-C
®
CONTROLLER has
the following IP address parameters: Standard IP address 192.168.10.4, subnet
mask 255.255.255.0
Proceed as follows:
1. Select the network settings in the Windows control panel.
2. Double-click on the adapter that is physically connected to the engineering inter-
face X80 of the MOVI‑C
®
CONTROLLER.
