Components may be subject to mechanical loads. Support and secure the customer
structure before removing the servomotor.
•
Disconnect the servomotor and the brake from the power supply before you start
working on the unit. Secure the servomotor against unintended power-up.
•
Use only genuine spare parts in accordance with the valid parts list.
•
Strictly observe the safety notes in the individual chapters.

Please have the following information to hand if you require the assistance of our
customer service:

Complete nameplate data.
•
Type and extent of the problem.
•
Time the problem occurred and any accompanying circumstances.
•
Assumed cause
CAUTION
During operation, sevomotors can reach a surface temperature of more than 100 °C.
Danger of burns.
•
Never touch the servomotor during operation or in the cool down phase once the it
has been switched off.
NOTICE
Improper troubleshooting measures may damage the servomotor.
