Communications (Device, Settings, Modem)
Under the communications screen, the serial device, serial settings and modem
configuration can be adjusted by the user.
If a PC is selected as the serial device, the residual trend will be sent out as a
hexadecimal file.
If a serial printer is selected, the residual value will be printed at the frequency the user
selects. Additionally, all errors and events are printed as they occur.

From the base unit configuration screen, the determinant, number of relays and language
on the display is indicated. These values are preconfigured prior to shipment and cannot
be adjusted.
