By default, the localhost source is added. If no other source mask is added the device 

will only accept local queries. 

 

 

Community name value

 

The  default  community  name  is  public.  For  security  reasons,  it  is  recommended  to 

change this parameter. 

 

 

Access mode configuration 

For security reasons, it is not recommended to provide read/write permissions while 

using SNMP v1 or v2.
