4.5 Additional rover settings
4.5.1 Setting the antenna height
The antenna height is the offset between the height of the measured position and the
Antenna Reference Point which is usually the length of the survey pole.
1. Click on the
GNSS/Status
tab and enter the antenna height
2. Click ‘Apply’ when
fi
nished. In the example shown in Figure 4-26, an offset of 2.0 metres
was used.

The Altus NR3 automatically compensates for the Antenna Phase Centre offset using the
approved calibration of the product in order to provide the most accurate position out of the
box.
The slant height measuring point (SHMP) is located at the line formed by the transition from
the orange to gray plastic. The vertical offset from the SHMP to the Antenna Reference Point
(ARP) at the bottom of the antenna is 35mm.
