Removing or Changing the Screen 

Caution: 

Always de-energize the unit using proper lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures when cleaning, 

lubricating, or performing any other maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair.  

 

Tools and PPE Required: 

 

Cut resistant gloves 

 

9/16” socket (for 3/8” bolts) 

 

1/2” deep socket with 6” or longer extension 

To remove or inspect the screen you need to access the Stage 2 cutting chamber. The screen will be exposed 

under the cutting chamber drawer. Follow the instructions in the next section to access the Stage 2 cutting 
chamber.  

Accessing the Stage 2 Cutting Chamber Before Removing the Screen 

 

Caution: 

Always de-energize the unit using proper lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures when cleaning, 

lubricating, or performing any other maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair.

 NEVER reach into the cutting chamber with bare hands.
