8.7. Configuring function keys
Program function keys from local programming menu
FUNCTION KEYS
:

Fast dial
: allows you to program a function key with a contact of the local directory, even if
already programmed with another function.
Mute
The
promoter
has a call in
progress
You can hear the partner on a call but he cannot hear you:
1. press softkey
SERVICES
2. select “Mute”
DTMF ON/OFF
The promoter
has a call in

Activate/Deactivate the DTMF dialling.
Park lamp
The promoter
has a call in
progress or is
free
To activate it enter the number of user/line from which to begin to
monitor the free/busy status:
1. press softkey
SERVICES
2. scroll the menu up to “Park Fields” and confirm
3. select “Active” and confirm
4. enter the number from which to begin the monitor and confirm
To deactivate the service select “
Deactive
” in place of “Active”.
The lamp icon (
) on the screen of the phone, signals that the
Park Lamp function is active; DSS module displays number and
name of monitored line, configured from SAMBuilder, in place of
"Park lamp" label.
Automatically, the arrow keys of telephone assume the function of
"Scroll-up" and "Scroll-down" respectively, to scroll up and down
the phone numbers to monitor, but you also have the possibility of
using two function buttons (SCROLL UP / SCROLL DOWN) both
for DSS and "base" profile of the phone.
Busy status of the extensions/lines is indicated by red LED, the
free state by led off; if the led is off you can call the monitored
number by pressing the appropriate key.
