Filter Maintenance
It is recommended that the vent and drain valves be opened once each day
to permit the escape of entrapped air and accumulated water. Make sure to
place a container under the drain valve.
Since there are no moving parts, maintenance is limited to an occasional
cartridge replacement, requiring only a 2 inch (51 mm) base clearance.
Cartridge Replacement
When any of the above noted conditions indicate that cartridge replacement is necessary, observe the
following procedures.
1.
Place a container under the filter and open the drain valve on
the housing bottom and allow all the fluid to drain from the
unit.

Use only non-sparking tools when performing any maintenance or service work on this equipment.
