1.1  Read the entire manual before using this product. Failure to do so 

could result in serious injury or death.

1.2  This jump starter is not intended for use by children. Persons with 

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience 

and knowledge, must be given supervision or instruction concerning the 

use of the product by a person responsible for their safety.

1.3  Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the 

jump starter.

1.4  Do not put fingers or hands into any of the unit’s outlets.

1.5  Do not expose the unit to rain or snow.

1.6  The appliance is to be used only with the power supply unit provided 

with the appliance. 

1.7  Use only recommended attachments. Use of an attachment not 

recommended or sold by Sealey for the SL65S may result in a risk of 

fire, electric shock or injury to persons or damage to property.

1.8  To reduce the risk of damage to the electric plug or cord, pull by the 

adaptor rather than the cord when disconnecting the unit.

1.9  Do not operate the unit with damaged cables or clamps.

1.10  Do not operate the unit if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped or 

otherwise damaged in any way; take it to a qualified service person.

1.11  Do not disassemble the unit; take it to a qualified service person when 

service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of 

fire or electric shock.

1.12  WORKING IN THE VICINITY OF A LEAD-ACID BATTERY IS 

DANGEROUS. BATTERIES GENERATE EXPLOSIVE GASES 

DURING NORMAL OPERATION. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU 

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS EACH TIME YOU USE THE UNIT.

1.13  To reduce the risk of a battery explosion, follow these instructions and 

those published by the battery manufacturer and the manufacturer of 

any equipment you intend to use in the vicinity of the battery. Review 

the cautionary markings on these products and on the engine.

1.14  Do not set the unit on flammable materials, such as carpeting, 

upholstery, paper, cardboard, etc.
