3.3.9.

Sub-assemble the Antenna Pedestal

Refer to the General Assembly drawing for your system and the procedure below.

Install the Base Stand, or

Mounting Spider, onto the

Base Pan using the hardware

provided. Apply Loctite to
and tighten the mounting

bolts.

Note: As an alternative, the stand can

be mounted to, and lifted with, the

pedestal in step 22 below.

Refer to drawing 136949-2 in
the drawing section of the

manual for installation of the

Ku-Band RF Equipment.

Mount the Ku-Band RF

Equipment on the right side

of the pedestal (foreground of
this view), assuring that the

waveguide port is facing the

back of the Ku-Band dish.

The BUC Power Supply is

mounted under the BUC itself.

Connect AC Power cable to
the BUC power supply.

Connect DC power from the

BUC power supply to the

BUC.

Connect TXIF input cable to

the BUC.

Connect M&C cable to the

BUC.

Refer to drawing 135996-1 in

the drawing section of the
manual for installation of the

C-Band RF Equipment.

Install the C-Band RF

equipment on the left side of

the equipment frame.

Connect AC Power cable to
the BUC.
