3.2 Connection of an External Power
Optionally you can connect an external 6V DC power source to the camera if no
batteries are available. It is recommended to use a power source with a current
capability greater than 1000mA. However, under sufficient daylight at day time, the
camera can work with much less current (>400mA). Please use the power source
cable (included) to connect the external DC power source and insert it into the power
jack of the camera, be sure that the polarity is correct.
If both external power source and batteries are connected, the camera will be
powered by the external power source.
For insufficient batteries, the low-battery indication (blue LED) will be lighted.
Then please change the batteries in time.
3.3 Inserting the SD-card
Next, please insert a SD-card into the card slot. The following shows you how to
plug and unplug the SD-card.
z
Please fit the SD-card into the card slot with unmarked side upwards. A slight
snapping sound of the card indicates that the card is connected successfully.
By the wrong side the card will be blocked for snapping in. Be careful, the
SD-card can be plugged in only one direction.
z
To take out the SD-card, just push in the card gently. The card is released
from the slot when you hear a slight snapping sound.
