5 Mounting the Camera
5 Mounting the Camera
When you want to use the LIVE mode of the camera in the outdoor, such as
hunting and monitoring the living habits of wild animals, you must mount the device
on a certain place properly. It is recommended to mount the camera on a tree whose
diameter is about 15cm. To get the optimal picture quality, the tree can be 5 meters
away from the place to be monitored, and at a height of 1.5~2 meters. The aiming
direction of lens and the movement direction of the object should be orthogonal.
There are three ways to mount the camera: using a band shaped belt, a round rope
or a round steel cable lock, or a combination of the above.

Using the belt:
To use the belt to fix the camera on a tree is illustrated in Fig. 17.
Take the belt toe to go through one of the ear holes of the camera from the back,
and then the other one also go through the other ear from the back of the camera.
Next take two toes to the back as shown in Fig. 17. At the end, tie the two toes to
the tree to finish fixing.

Using a rope or a steel cable lock:
When using a rope or a steel cable lock, just
put the rope or steel cable into cable slot in the middle of the camera. Then fix
the rope or steel cable to the tree.
