Event Reports
The example event summary in
corresponds to the event report in
BUS 1 Date: 05/13/2002 Time: 12:00:53.528
STATION A
Event: TRIP1 Targets: 87 50 A B C
Voltages (V), ABC: 469 858 643

Figure 9.1
Example Event Summary.
If serial port setting AUTO = Y, the event summary is sent from the serial port
a few seconds after the event.
The latest 10 event summaries are stored in nonvolatile memory and are
accessed by the
HISTORY
command. These event summaries correspond to
the latest 10 event reports also stored in nonvolatile memory.
Event Type
The “Event:” field shows the event type. The possible event types and their
descriptions are shown in
. Note the correspondence to the preceding
event report triggering conditions (see
Event Report Triggering on page 9.2
Voltages and Currents
The “Voltage (V), ABC” field shows the voltages present in the event report
row containing the maximum phase voltage. The listed voltages are:
Phase (A = channel IA, B = channel IB, C = channel IC)
The “Currents (A pri), ABCGQ:” field shows the currents present in the event
report row containing the maximum phase current. The listed currents are:
Phase (A = channel IA, B = channel IB, C = channel IC)
Calculated residual (G = 3I
0
; calculated from channels IA, IB, and IC)
Negative-sequence (Q = 3I
2
; calculated from channels IA, IB, and IC)
Event Report
History
Review a brief summary of as many as 10 of the latest events by using the
front-panel display and the
{EVENTS}
pushbutton or the serial port
HISTORY
command (see
HIS (History) on page 7.9 in Section 7: ASCII
). The event history contains the event report number, the
date and time the event occurred, the event type, and relay targets. Use the
event report history as an event report index, from which you can identify an
event report for further examination.
