Managing the hard disk (option)
The hard disk functions are available only if the receiver is equipped with a hard disk.
In the Main menu choose the line Manage hard disk with
CH
VW
and confi rm with
OK
.
This menu will appear:

Manage hard disk
, move the cursor using the buttons
CH
VW
onto the line
Hard disk
information
and press the
OK
button.
In the superimposed window you will see details about the built-in hard disk:

hard disk type
-
hard disk serial number
- hard
disk
fi rmware
- total
capacity
- access
times
Use
EXIT
to leave this super.
Managing the hard disk – hard disk maintenance
Allows you to format the hard disk. Formatting the hard disk will completely delete what is on it.
Afterwards the full recording capacity will again be available, as when the device was fi rst supplied.
In the menu
Manage hard disk
, move the cursor using the buttons
CH
VW
onto the line
Hard disk
maintenance
and press the
OK
button.
Use
VOL
◀
▶
to choose whether you want to format the hard disk
(Yes)
or not
(No)
. After formatting
the number of recordings will be reset to zero.
Free memory
shows the maximum recording capacity
available on the hard disk.
Use
EXIT
to leave the window.
CAUTION:
If you format the hard disk, all recordings on it will be irretrievably lost.
