9.2.1
Inputting Patient Data
As soon as you have activated the button
Create A New Patient
, there opens a window
for the input of patient data. In addition to the
name of a new patient data set you can also
add optional data such as address, date of
birth and insurance details.
If you touch the fields adjacent to the
Sur-
name
and
First Name
, there opens a key pad
for the input of the names.
Via the
shift
keys left and right you
switch between capital and small letters. A
capital letter is pre-selected for the first letter
of the name. The special characters contained
in the uppermost row are accessed via the
two shift keys and numerals accessed in small
letter mode. By touching the button
Delete
the last input is deleted. Confirm your
input with
OK
or discard the input with
Cancel
. Please note that the button
OK
is only then
operable once at least one character has been entered.
The orange coloured data are obligatory – in other words data such as
Surname
and
First
Name
must be completed in order to continue with the patient data input procedure.
The white coloured data are optional and should serve, for example, to filter the data more
precisely if you wish to carry out an evaluation of the patient data sets with your Sti-
maWELL
®
120MTRS System (please see Section 12.1.1).
Touch on the selection field adjacent to the symbols for male
or female
to input the
patient’s sex.
To enter the date of birth, please touch the white box next to
Date of birth
to open an input
menu.
Here you can input the complete date of birth in the format
day-month-year
whereby the system will set automatically
the points. If, for the day, the numeral 4 or greater is entered
and for the month a numeral 2 or greater is entered, the
system will automatically set a zero before the respective
numeral. If in this manner you enter the year after the point
behind the month, the system will automatically set 19/20 as
soon as you type in a 1 or a 2; thereafter it suffices to enter
the last two digits of the year. Also here the last digit entered
