Maintenance and replacement of parts
4.1
Maintenance of the machine’s interior
After use, dry the inside of the machine with a soft
cotton
cloth
(pictures 1
-
2).
Dry the drawer, the table and the inside walls of the machine.
Always remove all pre
treatment
residues. Clean the carriage guides and the Teflon slider using
a lubricant and care spray
(e.g.
WD40
)
(picture 3).
To clean the carriage guides and the Teflon slider unscrew and remove the covers
(pictures 4
-
5).
After cleaning the guides and the Teflon slider
install and screw the covers back on. Make sure that the guides on which the drawer moves are always greased. The guides must not be dry.
Grease the guides with water-resistant grease using a brush
(picture 6).
This prevents the guides from rusting and protects the rails from the
damaging effects of precoating.
