Wega aromatic steamer is a multi-functional cooking vessel with which you can steam, boil,
roast or stew.
We will explain how on the next few pages. Please read through the following information
carefully, so that you can make optimal use of the aromatic steamer and avoid damage caused
by incorrect usage.
generAL informAtion on the AromAtic SteAmer
Applications
The aromatic steamer consists of a pot, a steamer insert, a glass lid and a steam thermometer.
As required, these parts can be put together to form a steamer pot, a „normal“ cooking pot or
a stewing pan. The steamer insert is also optimally suited for use as a sieve/strainer.
materials
The aromatic steamer (incl. steamer insert and thermometer) is made of high-quality stain-
less steel 18/10. The lid consists of heat-resistant, shatterproof, high-quality glass. The robust,
heat-insulating stainless steel handles make a secure hold and easy use possible. Due to the
energy-saving ecotherm® all-hob aluminium capsule base, the aromatic steam can be used on
all standard types of cooker, including glass ceramic hobs and induction hobs.
Dishwasher compatibility
The steamer pot and steamer insert are dishwasher-safe. The glass lid and thermometer should
be cleaned by hand (see also cleaning instructions).
oven compatibility
The steamer pot (without the lid) and the steamer insert are oven-proof; the glass lid is only
oven-proof up to 180˚ C. Before use in the oven, the steam thermometer must be removed
from the lid knob.
