Positioning on the heat source
To guarantee optimum functioning of the pan, the base of the pan should be slightly
larger than the burner or correspond to its diameter. The appropriate burner diameter
is indicated on the base of the pan and/or on the coloured packaging. Always place the
pan centrally on the burner.
When the pan is used on an induction stove, please always consult the operating instruc-
tions of the stove manufacture with regard to the correct positioning of the pan. If it is
positioned incorrectly, this could result in irreparable damages to the pan, for example the
overheating of the side walls due to induction currents.
The sealing can be damaged if you position the pan incorrectly, completely boil the liquid
away or leave the pan on the stove and forget about it; and it can burn in temperatures
of over 250° C. If smoke develops, turn the stove off immediately and ventilate the room.
Tools
In order to prevent the surface from being scratched, it is recommended that only tools
made of plastic or silicone are used. Sharp edges on wood and plastic spatulas may also
cause scratches.
