The round plate which is visible inside the pan is part of the pan‘ s heat control™ tech-
nology. It serves for the improvement of the pan’ s properties and is not grounds for
complaint.
The protection mechanism of the heat control™ induction base only works on modern
induction stoves, not on conventional heat sources.
The heat control™ induction base is a technical development which is designed to pro-
tect the pan from accidental, unintended overheating on modern induction hobs. It does
not allow exclusion of the guidelines relating to the heating procedure (see Typical ap-
plication and Heat sources). In this context, please observe the operating instructions
for your stove. Schulte-Ufer accepts no liability for damages which arise as a result of
incorrect usage on your stove.
Optical temperature indicator

is equipped with an optical temperature indicator:
The flame guard attached between the pan and the handle is coated with a special, very
high-quality material. This material has the property of changing its colour under the
influence of heat. Thus, the black colour of the flame guard turns to red when the pan
reaches the working temperature of approx. 160° C. As soon as this colour change takes
place, the food can be put in the pan and the heat supply can be reduced.
