Maintaining batteries/battery packs
Prior to first use of LINAK battery packs, you should ensure that they are
charged for at least 24 hours and longer to achieve proper functioning
and extend the service life of the battery pack.
Please observe the following provisions on maintenance, replacement and dis-
posal to ensure safe and reliable operation.
The battery packs must be replaced after 4 years at the latest. Maybe even ear-
lier, depending on the usage structure. Frequent and strong discharge reduce
the battery pack service life. For an optimal service life, the product must be
connected to the mains power as often as possible. It is recommended to charge
the battery packs at least every 6 months. Otherwise the battery packs have a
lower capacity due to self-discharge. It is recommended to test the battery pack
function at least once a year.
