Depth adjustment
For the pelotte pads that can be adjusted in
depth (for the contourable upper body sup-
port), it is also necessary to adjust the depth.
To set the depth, loosen the hexa-
gon socket screw (
A
) on the respective
pelotte pad and bring the respective pelotte
pad into the desired position.
Tighten the hexagon socket screws again after each adjustment!
4.4 Contourable upper body support
The contourable upper body support for
till.
in sizes 3+4 is equipped with a spring me-
chanism. It is divided into three areas (shoul-
der, thorax and hip). For each area there is
a corresponding locking lever with the help
of which adjustments specific to the user`s
body can be fixed.
The following levers must be used for the following areas:
• Lever
B =
hip
• Lever
C =
thorax
• Lever
D =
shoulder
Before the user is positioned on the supine stan-
ding frame, please loosen the three locking levers
(
B
,
C
and
D
), by moving the levers upwards. This
makes the upper body support flexible. Once the
user has assumed his position on the supine stan-
ding frame, close the locking levers again. The
contouring of the upper body support defined by
the user is thus fixed. If needed, the upper body
support can be changed at specific points to re-
lease pressure from particular body regions or to
apply pressure. To do this, release the locking lever
for the respective area and, while the user is in po-
sition, press the pads into the desired position and lift the respective body
area. Afterwards close again the locking lever.
Ensure for each adjustment that all limbs are outside the adjustment areas / lo-
cking levers. Risk of entrapment!
