3.5 Upper body support

is available in size 1+2 with a standard
upper body support. In addition to this ver-
sion, there is also a contourable upper body
support (see
Point 4.4
) for size 3+4. Both va-
riants can be adjusted in length.
Before any adjustment to the length, re-
move the padded elements (see
Point
3.5.1 + 3.5.2
) and bring the reclining sur-
face (without user) into the horizon-
tal (see
Point 3.4
). Afterwards loosen the
hexagon socket screws (

for size 1+2.
For size 3+4
you must loosen the hexagon
socket screws (

) in the lateral profiles.
Once you have loosened the respective
screws, pull out the body (
C
) for an extension
or push it in for a reduction. To do this, get a
good hold of if or use for sizes 1+2 the push
bar (

)and support, if needed, the adjust-
ment by taking along the upper body sup-
port pad (
E
).
The body support is a type B application part.
Bring the reclining surface first into a horizontal
position before carrying out any length adjust-
ment!
The length adjustment of the upper body sup-
port may only be carried out without a user!
