, the level can be adjusted
from 0-5 cm.
Additionally, using the the hexagon socket
screw (
B
) the angle on each leg can be indi-
vidually steplessly adjusted between 0° and
30°.
After each adjustment, tighten again all screw
connections and clamping levers!
4.6 Leg supports (flex)
The length and the angle of the leg supports
(flex) can be adjusted (see
Point 3.7.1
).
To adjust the angle, put the knee pelotte up-
right, align it according to the patella and
press it down until achieving a knee flexion
that is adequate to and still tolerable by the
patient.
Now hold the leg support at the foot and
loosen both angle adjustment tubes via the
screws (
C
+
D
– for sizes 1+2) or the clamping
levers (
E
+
F
– for sizes 3+4). The clamping levers for sizes 3+4 must be pres-
sed for activation. Subsequently, lift the flexible leg support on the knee
pelotte pad until contact is established between the back of the knee and
the upper edge of the lower leg pad. Subsequently, fix the angle adjust-
ment tubes again using the screws (
C
+
D
) or the clamping levers (
E
+
F
) and
adjust again the knee pelotte pad. When using the abductable adapter
of the leg supports, you can now bring the abduction angle into the desi-
red dimension (see
Point 4.5
).
After each adjustment, tighten again all screw connections and clamping levers!
Clamping levers must not be pressed for actuation for sizes 3+4!
