2.4 Use not in accordance with the intended purpose / warning guide-
lines
• Make sure that the supine standing frame is used by one user only.
• Never leave the user lying/standing in the
supine standing frame without supervision.
• The correct use of the supine standing frame requires precise and care-
ful training of the accompanying person.
• The max. load (see
Point 6.1
) must not be exceeded.
• Do not use the supine standing frame with defective, worn or missing
parts.
• For reasons of fire safety, the supine standing frame may not be placed
close to an open fire or any other strong source of heat such as electric
or gas heaters.
• Only use accessories and spare parts made by Schuchmann, otherwise
you will endanger the user.
• Only use the supine standing frame if all components have been
correctly mounted and adjusted.
• When adjusting the supine standing frame there is the risk of jamming or
crushing limbs.
• Users who have difficulty reading must have someone read these Ins-
tructions for use aloud so that they understand how to use the supine
standing frame.
• Pay attention to the instructions for use and warnings for the sub-frame
with motor support (see
Point 4.13
onwards).
2.5 Equipment for basic model
• Height and angle adjustment (0-90°) using a gas pressure spring for size
1+2
• Height and angle adjustment (0-90°) via electrical motor for size 3+4
(incl. safety switch-off and manual operation)
• Can be positioned underneath patient lifter
• Upper body support adjustable in length incl. padded elements to
adjust the upper body support length
• incl. chest and pelvis strap
• Adapter for leg supports (standard)
• Leg supports (standard), adjustable in length, with 5 cm level compen-
sation
• Footrests (standard) that can be lowered down to the ground using the
height adjustment of the central column
• Sub-frame with 5 5 (for size 1-3) or 6 (for size 4) brakable castors
(75 mm) with total lock, one of which only with direction lock
• Frame colour: telegrey 4 (white grey), attachment parts: black
• incl. tool for all setting tasks (adjustment functions can be effected wi-
thout tools)
