Temperature limit 1 = fan
3…
(TEMP2-5K) °C
If the temperature limit 1 is exceeded, the controller switches on the
switching output of the fan. Additionally, the status message
“
FAN
” flashes
on the display in the bottom line of the main menu. If the temperature falls
below the temperature limit 1 by 5 K, the controller switches off the switching
output of the fan after 10 s. The status message
“
FAN
” is no longer shown
on the display.
NOTE:
If the switching output is used as an additional stage output
(SETUP/406) (
“YES”), the fan control is activated via the alarm system.
513
Temperature limit 2 = alarm
(TEMP1+5K)…
60 °C
Setting of the temperature limit 2 = temperature alarm.
If the temperature limit 2 is exceeded, the alarm is signalled after a delay
time of 10 s.
The message
“
thi
ALARM
” is shown on the display and the alarm relay opens
its contact.
If the function SETUP/503 is activated, all active stages (
“AUTO” & “FON”)
are switched off one by one referring to the switch-off interval set under
SETUP/523 and are locked for 30 min. The last active stage is switched off
first, when the switch-off interval has run out after the signalling of the alarm.
Then, the other stages are switched off one by one referring to the switch-
off interval. As all active stages have been switched off, the control stops for
as long as the alarm is still active.
If the temperature falls below the temperature level 2 by 5 K, the still active
stage switch-off sequence is cancelled. The already switched-off stages,
however, remain locked until the blocking time (max. 30 min) has run out. If
the control has been stopped, this is restarted and the controller can switch
the stages again. If the function
“Manual reset” (SETUP/501 = NO) is
deactivated, the alarm messages (display and alarm relay) are reset
automatically after 10 s. The alarm relay is only reset, if no other alarm is
active.
NOTE:
The control is stopped while the alarm is still active. The stages
which have been switched off by the alarm system are locked for max. 30
min. Active
“FON” stages also are switched off and blocked. Stages which
have been switched on manually are NOT switched off. If stages are
switched off manually, they are only locked until the discharge time is
expired.

Control alarm (target COS
cannot be reached)
Yes/No
“
YES
”: Control alarm is activated. If the controller could not reach the target
cos
ϕ after a 75-fold switching time, because no suitable stage is available
to be switched on resp. off (Q > smallest stage
over- /under-
compensation), the control alarm is signalled. The message
“
PFC
ALARM
” is
shown on the display and the alarm relay opens its contact. When the
control reaches the target COS-PHI again, the alarm messages (display and
alarm relay) are automatically reset, if the function
“Manual reset”
(SETUP/501 = NO) is deactivated. The alarm relay is only reset if no other
alarm is active.
“
NO
”: Control alarm is deactivated.
515
Stage alarm: Faulty stages
Yes/No
“
YES
”:
Alarm for faulty stages is activated. If the function SETUP/309 is
activated and if a stage is identified as faulty after 3 unsuccessful switching
operations, the stage alarm faulty stages is signalled. The message
“
Stage
ALARM
/ Flty
” is shown alternatingly on the display. Stages which have been
identified as defective and have been blocked are flashing on the stage
