Malfunction
Cause
Measure
The suction cup connection is
leaking.
4
Check the seal.
Vacuum generation is
not working.
The direction of rotation of the
vacuum generator is reversed.
4
Check the supply line to the vacuum
generator, swap two phases at the
vacuum generator if necessary.
The main switch is set to OFF.
4
Set the main switch to ON.
The electrical connection is defec-
tive.
1. Check and repair the connection.
2. Check the power supply line.
The motor-protection switch was
triggered.
4
Check the electrical system for cause
and eliminate the fault.
Voltage is applied to only two
phases.
4
Check connection and fuse.
Power consumption is elevated.
1. Clean the dust filter.
2. In the case of thermal overload, al-
low the system to cool.
3. Check the motor for faults.
The vacuum generator is faulty.
4
Check the vacuum generator and
contact Schmalz service if necessary.
The lowering speed is
too high or too low.
The lowering speed is not adapted
to the weight of the load.
4
Adjust the lowering speed
(> See ch.
Installation)
.
The radio remote con-
trol does not activate
the vacuum generator.
No power at the receiver board.
LED1 is not illuminated.
4
Check the power supply line.
The back-up fuses of the power
supply unit are faulty.
4
Check the fuses next to the contac-
tor in the receiver.
The fuse of the power supply unit
is faulty.
4
Check the fuse on top of the power
supply unit in the receiver.
The transmitter has not been reg-

4
Register the transmitter.
The transmitter is faulty:
•
The transmitter could not be
registered.
ON/OFF button jams or does not
transmit (cracking sound when

1. Replace the transmitter on the op-
erator handle
(> See ch. Replacing
the Transmitter)
2. Contact Schmalz Service.
The receiver is faulty:
•
No response to registration.
No radio traffic indicated by
flickering LED6.
