Ensure that the vacuum generator cannot be activated by unauthorized persons (e.g.,
by means of a padlock on the main switch).

The gripper is not attached correctly

Ensure that the latching bolt (5.1) is securely engaged.
7.1.4 Using the Tube Lifter Correctly
Incorrect use of the tube lifter can endanger the operator and lead to product damage.

Uncontrolled tube lifter movements upon activation

Before activating the vacuum generator:

Ensure that the suction cup cannot become attached to the load or parts of the build-
ing.

Remove the suction cup from its storage rack.

Press the pushbutton (6.3) to prevent the tube lifter from moving up when it is
switched on.
CAUTION
Sudden upward movement of operator handle due to falling load

Always grip the load at its center of gravity.

Never lean over the operator handle or the load.
4
Keep your distance from the device, with arms extended.

Before each handling operation, make sure that no people are in the danger zone.
